Three stunning spots to watch Riverfire from.

The annual battle for the best place to watch spectacular fireworks celebration – Riverfire – could be over if you’re lucky enough to grab one of these luxury spots.

The Queensland capital’s favourite free community event draws thousands to its riverbanks, towers, parks and homes as part of the Brisbane Festival annually, with this year to see fireworks and lighting displays fired from bridges, barges and city rooftops at 7pm on August 31.

Place Kangaroo Point head Simon Caulfield is based in one of the best suburbs to catch all the action over the years and says “people are mesmerised by the breathtaking view of the Story Bridge” during Riverfire.

“Everyone raves about the trifecta – the river, the city, and of course, you can’t have the trifecta without the bridge,” he said.

“There are not many cities that offer vast views from apartments like Brisbane. From a vantage point, properties like these are in the epicentre of it all. Experience the best view of Riverfire and other major events the city has to offer.”

He and wife Courtney have apartments with insane front row seats for sale right now – setting any new owners up for years, and events, to come.

“Imagine enjoying Riverfire and other vibrant events like New Year’s Eve celebrations from the comfort of your own home. These properties offer front-row seats to all the action, combining unparalleled views with the ultimate Queensland lifestyle.”

One of the most luxurious spots on the market is 3/65 Moray Street, New Farm, on the riverfront – and owners even have their own sky garage, with a car lift taking their vehicle direct to their floor.

The four bedroom, four bathroom 382sq m whole floor apartment is one of six in Moray House, and is built to entertain with ease in the open plan living zone through to a spacious covered terrace overlooking the Story Bridge.

It even has a private wine cellar, private gym and wellness room and walking distance to some of Brisbane’s best restaurants and bars.

Further up the river and on the opposite bank, is a five bedroom 472sq m apartment at 82201/23 Mollison Street, West End atop the acclaimed ‘Altura’ by Sekisui complex in the West Village precinct.

The precinct has a unique vibe with acclaimed restaurants like Rich & Rare, Ippin, Vela and Yammas, and the home has panoramic views across the city skyline to the river where Riverfire will be going off. Windows are full height glass to take in the panoramic views, with entertaining space including an open plan living and dining area with dual sided fireplace, a covered balcony with al fresco dining space and an integrated barbecue plus a spectacular kitchen indoors.

A third option, with a price tag in the $4ms, is 4403/443 Queen Street, Brisbane City, where you may well be looking down on some of the fireworks.

The four bedroom 204sq m apartment in the award-winning 443 Queen Street has what Mr Caulfield describes as “first class river views”.

“With towering views above the iconic Story Bridge, City skyline, the new Kangaroo Point Pedestrian Bridge, the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and the Botanic Gardens, this sophisticated property is just moments from the very best Brisbane has to offer.”

He said “while the spectacular views make these homes truly exceptional, they also offer convenience and an unbeatable lifestyle”.

“These homes, which are on the market, provide the perfect blend of convenience, luxury, and breathtaking vistas.”

“They offer a rare opportunity to enjoy internal and external spaces that overlook the heart of the city, a privilege not commonly found in densely populated urban areas.”
